“I Vow To Thee, My Country” – a new recording
Here’s a wonderful recording of the hymn “I Vow To Thee, My Country”, for which Gustav Holst composed the music, sung by pupils at Cheltenham College Preparatory School and volunteers from the Holst Birthplace Museum (as it was called then), to raise money to support the Museum during the 2020 pandemic. The school’s Director of Music, Kit Perona-Wright. is playing Holst’s own piano at the Museum. Many thanks to everyone involved.
