Holst Birthday Concert

We were delighted with this year’s Birthday Concert performed by Cheltenham Symphony Orchestra at Pittville Pump Room. The concert was conducted by David Curtis and featured the first UK performances of two of Holst’s “Lost” manuscripts. It also included Symphony No 5 by Ralph Vaughan Williams and Stanford’s Irish Rhapsody no. 1.Â
