A Concert of A Cappella Choral Music

St Cecilia Singers, the chamber choir of Gloucester Cathedral, present a concert of a cappella choral gems by composers ranging from Byrd and Parsons through Stanford, Parry and Holst to composers closely associated with Gloucestershire and the Singers themselves, including John Sanders, Charlotte Baskerville, a current member of the choir and an arrangement by their conductor, Jonathan Hope.  The theme ‘To Be a Light’ reflects the character of many of the pieces, notably Holst’s Nunc Dimittis and includes a nod to Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee as well as the quest for light in times of darkness.

Tickets £18 for non-members, £16 for Holst Victorian House members online and from the Holst Victorian House, 4 Clarence Road, Cheltenham GL52 2AY during Museum opening hours.
