Join Curator Laura Kinnear for a 45 minute talk to discover what life was like in the house and the local area during WW2. As part of the exhibition, ‘From Bombs to Bellbottoms’, the Maid’s Sitting Room has been transformed into Evelyn Doxey’s parlour. Evelyn lived in the house throughout the 1940s and was part of the Civil Nursing Reserve.
 
1940s style refreshments for a donation.
