We welcome back Peter Martin (tenor) and Matthew Jorsyz (piano) following their delightful online Christmas concert for us in 2020 for a live recital of song by English composers, including Holst’s Vedic Hymns, three of which they performed in that recording, a song cycle by Gerald Finzi and folk-song arrangements by Benjamin Britten. These will be interspersed with piano solos by Matthew. Peter is a London-based operatic and concert tenor with a Masters in Performance from the Royal College of Music and Matthew studied at Clare College Cambridge before developing a career as piano accompanist alongside his role as Assistant Organist at Westminster Abbey.
The concert will be in the fabulous space of Chapel Arts, Cheltenham’s unique and beautiful centre for the Arts, where refreshments will be available at the Arts Café. The event will be held in association with the Cheltenham Music Festival Society (CFMS).
